Revenue raids seize two stills and eighty nine gallons liquor

In Randolph county near High Point officers nabbed one man at a still and recovered 89 gallons of liquor plus two stills and apparatus. A second raid at Oscar Olivers yielded four more gallons and a small setup. both suspects await court action. Authorities from Reidsville High Point and local police coordinated the operation.

The Third Liberty Loan reached 4.17 billion dollars with a 39 percent oversubscription. About 17 million subscribers participated across all Federal Reserve districts, New York at 124 percent being the lowest.
