AlIg UAE Alphonse L. Ellison and Chas L. Berrier have bought the Ideal Lumber Co. plant near South Main street car line and Dixie Milling Co. They will begin operations at once and likely produce kitchen and dining room furniture. The idle plant will be utilized by experienced furniture makers.

Thieves Enter Local Stores in Monday Night Burglary

Thieves conducted a wholesale burglary Monday night at Gilmer Bros Allen Bros and Amos Furniture Co. They entered Gilmer and Amos in the second story and Allen in the third. Only 60 cents was taken at Gilmer’s. nothing was taken at the other two stores as the thieves refused pennies.
