Ladies Missionary Society Holds Busy Session
Reports from officers and department heads plus addresses on the centenary movement framed a full program. Mrs W R Harris led institutes for the Young People and Mission Study. Miss Amy Hackney directed Children's Institute. Mrs W A Newell oversaw Social Service. Mrs J W Perry chaired a general institute. Mrs Pla Coffen spoke on China work. memorial service led by Mrs P N Pescock. Afternoon panels covered membership growth stewardship and youth work. An evening program featured Miss Panache Howell and a Brazil mission talk by Miss Howell. Committees were announced for Mission Study Young People Extension Finance Resolution and others with Mrs J M Hamrick declining Greene Street Baptist pastorate.
