Auto crash near Penny farm injures Mrs McAnally and child
Monday night near the Penny farm a bad auto accident occurred as Mrs. W. J. McAnally and her year old child were painfully though not seriously hurt. Dr. McAnally and family were northbound, Mr. Sinclair and three companions were southbound toward High Point. The left headlight of the McAnally car was out, and the Sinclair car lights blinded by passing likely caused the collision. Dr. McAnally escaped serious injury while the Sinclair party suffered no injuries. Both cars were badly damaged with an estimated cost around 500 dollars.

Bryan resigns as Secretary of State in Wilson cabinet
