Bad Fix-Big Hearted Policeman Wood

Would-Be Assassin of Mr. Morgan Kills Himself in His Cell
In Mineola jail Frank Holt Cornell professor who shot J P Morgan at his Glen Cove home last Saturday died from a fractured skull in his cell. Jail officials and a physician cited conflicting reports on the cause with a loud report heard by keeper Jeremiah O R yan, who found Holt in a pool of blood.

Benjamin E. Moore of this city is the oldest Pythian in North Carolina and among the few living who joined the Order shortly after its founding by Justice H. Rathbone. A charter member of Quantico Lodge No. 34 in Maryland, Moore moved from Tur, Alabama, to High Point in 1900 and remains a strong believer in Pythias principles. High Point Lodge No. 39 plans to record his name on the roster once a card is received from the Alabama lodge.
