About 175 guests gathered Sunday two miles east of Bunker Hill at Chas Idol's home to celebrate Mrs. Vi Negels 6th anniversary. Attendees came from High Point Kernersville Waughtown Colfax Friendship and nearby areas. The feast included more than 30 large cakes chickens ham pies and other fare. Children Bud Chas and Dolph Idol and Miss Flora Stafford reside nearby with 26 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mrs Flora Payne Alf Idol and June Ellington of High Point were noted. It was a day long to be remembered.
