High Point Furniture Exposition Draws Southern Attention

The Merchants' Trade Journal notes High Point North Carolina as a booming furniture hub with a planned 200000 square foot exposition building costing about 3500000. The market now showcases eleven bedroom and twelve dining lines plus glass, musical, and cabinet goods, with prices from 16.50 to 400 for major items and a 100 percent cost rise in recent seasons. The new show space aims to centralize exhibitions for Southern factories, aiding both large and small buyers through mixed car loading discounts and broader selection.
