The Elk's Lodge held its annual memorial service on the first Sunday in December at 3 o'clock. A large crowd gathered to honor departed brothers and those in service to country. Mayor W. P. Ragan died this year and a lodge officer was noted. J. J. Farriss delivered the eulogy and Miss Boyd directed music under Exalted Ruler H. A. Millis.
