Washington July 29 The War Department says fully 24 000 physicians or two out of every nine of military age will be required for the new American armies plus 120 000 enlisted men for the medical corps. Washington July 30 The Railroads War Board has adopted a policy to move empty freight cars between line owners to speed lumber delivery from Southern forests to army cantonments and shipyards.
