Grissom Charged With Robbery Bound For May Term Court

Henry Grissom charged with robbery of the High Point Motor Company and Snow Lumber Company was bound over to the May term in 300 dollars. He and Jule Fagg allegedly took about 250 dollars in tires from the Motor Company and 200 dollars in leather from Snow Lumber. Most stolen goods were found in woods near High Point. Fagg fled. A strong case is made out against the pair.

Appendicitis Operation For Mr Williard Dyer

Mr Williard Dyer was taken ill Friday and taken to hospital where an acute attack of appendicitis was diagnosed. The operation was performed that afternoon and he is reported to be doing nicely.

The council allowed parties to erect an air home picture show on a vacant lot between the Chinese laundry and Barbee Marble Works. The disposal plant issue was postponed to the next meeting. No action was taken on closing schools due to contagious diseases.
