Rules on price two dollars per year paid semiannually in advance. Subscriptions require at least six months. No discount for shorter terms and no discontinuation while arrears exist. Advertisements priced at one dollar per square for three insertions plus twenty five cents each subsequent insertion. Payments must accompany ads.
Doctor Henry H Krider announces a new apothecary store in Bloomsburg offering a general assortment for sale to friends and the public.
A list of drugs medicines oils paints glass putty dye stuffs gums turpentine varnishes and related items will be sold on cash or country produce terms. Doctor Krider offers professional services to friends and the public and asks continued favors while pledging care and attention. Bloomsburg October 17 1824.
Those indebted to the estate of Issaiah Willetts, late of Cattawissa deceased, must settle by January next. The subscribers will attend at the deceased’s house in Cattawissa each Friday from September 20 until January’s end. Creditors should produce their demands properly authenticated for settlement. Those neglecting this will not be neglected by William McKelvy and Thomas Harerman.

Fragmentary text references Joseph Higester and official authority in Pennsylvania. Readable portion suggests a formal Commonwealth proclamation or legal notice naming Higester and the governor role, with incomplete phrasing of authority and name.
A proclamation from Harrisburg on October 30, 1821 confirms John Findlay and Thomas Murray Junior as duly elected Representatives of the United States in the House for the remainder of the term, filling vacancies from James Duncan and Willis Cox Elis resignations. Governor Andrew Gregg signs with the Great Seal.
The creditors and debtors of Andrew Runyen of Cattarissa township Columbia County are notified that Daniel Montgomery Thomas Woodside Wimstont Montgomery are appointed assignees by the Court of Common Pleas under insolvent laws. Debtors must pay all sums and deliver property. creditors must present accounts promptly. Danville Oct. 3 1524.
In Danville, the former Mrs Spence property now run by William Hesher operates as a house of public entertainment. He will provide good liquors and be ready to host gentlemen attending cows, arbitrators, etc on moderate terms. He pledges to furnish hay oats and feed for horses.
Gabriel Keeser informs the public he will occupy the tavern stand on the Berwick to Easton turnpike formerly kept by Peter Stair about 40 miles from Berwick. He plans to serve liquors and provide accommodations for man and horse, seeks public assistance after losses, promises cheap but quality service. Date November 7.
Abraham Steel, about five ft 6 in, German born, 30 years old, speaker of little English, escaped Tuesday the 23d. He wore an old blue coat, striped tow pantaloons, old hat and shoes. Deliver him to Danville county gaol for reward and charges from John Underwood, sheriff. October 27, 1821.
