Terms of publication state a paper price of no dollars per year paid semi annually in advance. Mail subscriptions incur subscriber costs. No one may subscribe for less than six months and papers won’t be discontinued until arrears are settled. Advertisements run three times at one dollar per square with twenty five cents for each additional insertion, all ad copies requiring cash.
The Plain Truth editors pledge to expose missionary fallacy and deception, dispel hypocrisy, disseminate correct religious intelligence, foster home charities, and combat error. Since its March launch the semi monthly has grown from four to eight royal octavo pages, with plans to avoid sectarian bias and include contents and title pages for subscribers.
Puain Trurnu announces publication every fortnight on Friday at Canandaigua New York priced one dollar yearly paid in advance. Subscriptions include complete files and mail forwarding. Ebensburg academy trustees seek $1000 for building, and Dorothea Smith seeks authority to sell real estate.
