Canyon City hosts a gala crowd for the cornerstone ceremony of a new Randall County court house. The event features a band concert, a long communal meal, a Masonic cornerstone laying, and a display of memorabilia inside the cavity of the stone. The building costs about 850000 and will be a lasting civic landmark for the county.
