Sunnyside Dairying Pioneers Eye Cooperative Creamery Growth
The Sunnyside dairy district expanded from a small, multi-family irrigation community to a growing cooperative creamery system. A pasteurizing plant, monthly installments, and 87 stockholders now support about 1 000 cows and 114 patrons. The group aims to double patronage, add butter and ice plants, and rely on Hazlewood for product handling.
