The Jefferson Avenue Christian Church will receive $2,000 from the Seagle estate to fund a new pipe organ. The gift, noted yesterday, follows a broader church improvement program that included interior redecorating and refinishing of woodwork.
The finishing department workers at Paul Knitting Mills announced the death of W. H. Seagle yesterday. Mrs. T. L. Lucas, floor lady, conveyed the news and said many staff knew Seagle through church activities.
