Unique record holder Dr Baldwin weds thousands in Troy
Rev Dr George C Baldwin of Troy New York is celebrated as the champion marrying minister in the United States. At nearly eighty he has united about six thousand persons in wedlock over more than fifty years. He recalls marriages past and predicts prosperity will bring more matches. He argues marriage broadens mentality and lowers crime, maintaining his cheerful, welcoming style.
