Fatal Fourth of July ends in tragedy at San Francisco fair
The tale centers on Min Toko the Chinese performer in San Francisco Chinatown who uses a magic kite and a fatal cord in a staged act during a wedding and Fourth of July celebrations. He dies when the cord triggers a fatal fall after claiming the star descends. The bride Fawele Blashfield mourns as Min Toko’s stunt goes disastrously wrong.
