A chartered Louisiana corporation, named Mutual Benefit Association of Shreport, is formed under Act 26 1858 with a 99 year term. It aims to aid members to buy lands homes and pay mortgages, with capital stock 750000 dollars divided into 300000 shares at 25 dollars each.
