Old Citizen and Odd Fellow Deaf Passes After Long Service

Saturday afternoon at 4 30 Mr Thomas Phillips died after a two week illness. He was a beloved city figure, faithful to his duties to commonwealth law lodge church and God. He presided for about twenty nine years and was the oldest Odd Fellow in the world worshipping at the Triple Links for sixty years and attending every meeting despite weather.
