Death in Accident Near Recluse Wyoming Homesteader
Webster, a 29 year old Arkansas City man living with his uncle Jesse McClure near Recluse, Wyoming, died after accidentally shooting himself with a gun he carried. He finished a letter to his wife and two children before the fatal pistol discharge. An inquest in Gillette found death from a self inflicted accidental wound. His body was sent to Fairfield, Oklahoma for interment.

Two Men Convicted in Justice Court Saturday
George Ratch was convicted of an assault against J E Burk of Wright creek in a Saturday trial before Co C Craw. Ratch received a $150 fine and 90 days in jail. Burk faced a separate charge after witnesses noted prior intoxication. Burk admitted attempting to procure moonshine at Alzada.
