Club Sponsors Art Exhibit in L. D. 8 Hall

The Art and Travel club held a Community Art Exhibit in the L. D. 8 Recreation hall. The event drew 50 patrons and featured works by James Walton, Mrs. Alice Cosgrove, Burgess, Nellie Bean, Maurice Green, Mrs. Wagoner, C. M. Rainey, J. C. Simms, Alex Campbell, Julia Whildin, and others. Pieces included oil paintings, watercolors, tapestries, wood carvings, samplers, and handcrafted china. The exhibit is expected to become an annual affair.

Furs With a Swagger In From Paris At Exhibit

A Paris show brings a diverse assortment of items to public view. Furs, textiles, needlework, oil paintings, watercolors, and Japanese art mix with portraits and landscapes highlighted by Mrs. Lyman Fargo, Miss Eva Kasiska, and Mrs. A. C. Sloan among others. OFFICERS ARE HONOR GUESTS In honor of the retiring officers, the Home Makers club entertained at Mrs. Connie Roberts' home. Pinochle was played with Margaret Frandsen high and Hazel Crockett drawing the top prize.
