Six men died and a dozen were seriously hurt when an outbound Panhandle passenger train crashed into the rear of a stock train at Twelfth and Rockwell streets in Chicago. Restocking Idaho streams with tens of thousands of trout
The state fish hatcheries released 32 000 eastern brook trout and 80 000 natives into Bannock county creeks and rivers. About 50 000 trout fry were planted yesterday with 18 000 eastern brook trout. fry were moved by Deputy Barnes to Mink creek and Rabbit creek. Fry came from Warm River hatchery and were transported by Chief Deputy Dunford. The car paused near Lander street while aerated, with remaining loads sent to Soda Springs and planned for Weiser. The department reports nearly a million fish planted this season from Warm River and Hay Spur hatcheries. Mink creek is seen as an ideal site for future growth of eastern brook trout.
