Professor Norman B. Adkison returned from a six week Presidio training for college men to assist in S A T C work this winter. Tech students Hibner Stacy Keene Beauchete Amundsen and West will help officers train the unit. In Lorraine on September 20 the fight Americans suffered many deaths when a clearing hospital was struck by a German shell. Jas R. Mann Jr. son of a state legislator in Illinois shot his pet dog and then fatally shot himself today. In a note to his mother he said he did not expect to live much longer and might as well end it now. He was twenty eight and suffering from tuberculosis.
