Nampa Woman Admits Beating Boy Faces Murder Charge
Prosecutor says 32 year old mother admitted beating and ducking her three year old stepson in an irrigation ditch until he lost consciousness. The child Phillip Wayne Peterson Jr died later at Nampa hospital from five severe head injuries. Mrs Peterson and her husband Phillip Peterson were charged with first degree murder after the confession and reenactment at the scene.
