In St Paul Oregon late last night Town Marshal J A Krechter was killed unidentified stranger mortally wounded Alfred Lambert the marshal s posse member was shot in the arm and two other men strangers in town were wounded as roughs from hop picker crowd started the disturbance. The disturbers fled after the shooting and Marshal Krechter had formed a posse to subdue them.

Five Hundred Men Clamor for the Hibernian Bank Coin
San Francisco September 12 A bank run on the Hibernian bank began yesterday and continued today despite assurances from bank officers and other banks that funds were ample. Deposits exceed fifty million dollars with over five hundred depositors queued before opening. The state bank commissioners meet with Hibernian officers but no statement issued. R M Tobin reports twenty three million in immediately available securities including government bonds and gilt edged securities. The bank holds mortgage security in the burned district totaling eighteen million, secured by nine million in Insurance and twenty two million in real estate.

Steve Adams Remains in Idaho After Denver Extradition
