Meridian Idaho Sept 6 Byron Defenbach Republican candidate for governor opened his campaign with a four point plan. He urged an immediate moratorium on tax and debt foreclosures on farms and homes and said he would seek a legislature first day action to suspend foreclosures for 1928 and 1929 taxes. He stressed public support, pledged 25 percent tax cuts, and condemned mudslinging while appealing to loan companies banks and creditors to cooperate. The gathering drew about 1500 attendees.

Two Men Sentenced for First Degree Burglary in Idaho
