Two Bandits Rob Store In Yellowstone Confectionery Heist
A robbery at the Yellowstone confectionery on 246 South Main left proprietor M J Dudenake bound and gagged while $300 was taken. Dudenake escaped after about an hour and called police from Luzon confectionery two doors north. Richard Merlin Cleverley was later arrested. a second bandit remained at large as officers recovered guns and money.

Dr. and Mrs. William A. Black and their Rochester Minnesota relatives arrive in Pocatello for a 10 day visit with Roy L. Black and Mrs. John R. Black. On November 9 Dr. Black leaves for Carlisle Pennsylvania to enter the army medical service after two years as a Mayo Clinic fellow. The family plans to stay in Pocatello for the present.

Seaman Tadlock Advances After Navy Training
John Raymond Tadlock son of Mrs. Wilma Leigh of Pocatello advanced to Seaman first class on graduation from the naval air technical training center in Memphis Tennessee on October 27 He enlisted March 20 after working in Union Pacific railroad yards and received boat training at Farragut prior to service.

Pasadena socialites fined in Sun Valley case
McAuley and other Pasadena residents visited the Naval hospital area in Sun Valley. They were arrested and found guilty in police court of mutilation of property, each fined five dollars by Judge Charles A. Brown.
