American race drivers ready for big event at Indianapolis

Bank Robbery Suspects Nabbed After Culver Heist
Four members of a gang robbed the State Exchange bank at Culver Indiana of about 16000 and were captured while others were hunted in a woods northwest of town. Suspects named include T C Teske Jack Gray Eddie Murphy and Joe Cohen with Cohen claiming innocence. In Rensselaer a six man robbery led to a gun battle with police killing one detective and fleeing with 2000 in a waiting car.

Two Boys Face Serious Charges in Local Burglary Ring
Sheriff Maurice Rossiter announced plans to file burglary or robbery charges against Charles St. Vincent 16 and Robert Bevans 18 this afternoon. St. Vincent was arrested Saturday after a prior reduction of a car theft sentence, and is being held for investigation into a gang linked spree. Bevans was arrested on a burglary charge and released on a $1,000 bond. Three other suspects Eugene Orgill Duane Richmond and Mat Akers are being held in Bakersfield and to be extradited, waiving extradition.
