Hi-Y Members Hear Story Of Yen From Y C Yen

Harold J. Rounds of San Francisco spoke to Lindell Hi-Y and Sophomore Hi-Y in Pocatello about Jimmy Yen the inventor of the Chinese character alphabet and mass education. Yen trained 1 000 youths in three months in China and 97 percent earned government certificates. He helped offset communism by spreading literacy as a Y M C A effort.

Indian girls sentenced for arson at Pierre school
