Washington May 19 AP A seasoned Marine Corps flyer won the C A Lats trophy race beating Lieut Commander A C Miles by 56 seconds. The event drew nearly ten thousand spectators along the Potomac river as pilots posted speeds from 106 to 157 mph in ten classes with top marks by Brownfield commander and Anacostia aviators.

Two Brothers Die Under Train Wheels on High Bridge
Two young Pankow brothers Bobbie age four and William age eight were killed when a Great Northern passenger train struck them on a High Bridge near Cass Lake Minnesota. Their siblings, ages seven, nine, and ten, survived after clinging to the bridge while the train passed over.
