Hopper Faces Insanity Charge in Boise Case

Johnny Hopper a 24 year old ex convict faces a charge of insanity filed in Pro bate Court in Boise by Prosecuting Attorney Willis Moffatt. Hopper was convicted of accepting funds from his mother who is serving a prison term for embezzlement. Hospital staff said Hopper allegedly injured his aunt during the arrest and she was recovering from head wounds.

Autopsy Underway in Rupert Death of Pocatello Brakeman

An autopsy is being conducted into the death of Irving O. McLaughlin, 46, a Pocatello U P brakeman, struck and killed by a motorist at Rupert as he flagging a crossing near the Rupert station. The driver A E Christensen, 68, Rupert, said he did not see the rail worker. He is survived by his widow, two sisters, and his father. The body was moved from Rupert to this area for the autopsy.

83 year old farmer in Huntington stalls at auto laundry

Eight Idaho and Utah minors die in tragic weekend
