Police and federal agents seize 30 eight ounce explosive bottles at a West Forty-fifth Street house, described as a drug treatment clinic, owner Charles Baldwin arrested for drug violations. Washington reports only one bomb package delivered to Senator Overman was diverted at Salisbury, while postal officials intensify manhunt for remaining devices. Postmaster General Burleson commends clerk Charles Kaplan for preventing delivery of sixteen bombs and urges wider reward.
Minneapolis promoter Mike Collins telegraphs Tex Rickard with a 135000 offer to promote the Willard Dempsey bout on July Fourth. He says he has 100000 backing locally and seeks a ten round contest with the fighters in Minneapolis.

New prices: business one party 72 a year, two party 60. residence one party 36, two party 30. four party in Twin Falls and Idaho Falls 27, with Pocatello Boise listed for applicability.
Federal Judge James E. Boyd ruled the child labor section of the war revenue bill unconstitutional. He had voided the original act last year, a decision the U S Supreme Court had barely affirmed by one vote. Greensboro, N C reports.
Paris reports Bavarian government forces captured Munich from the communists Thursday morning. Advices transmitted today confirm the seizure in the early hours of May.

Paris May 2. Marcel Hutin of Echo de Paris reports the peace treaty will have 15 to 20 chapters outlining aims for a league of nations, frontiers changes, military clauses, colonies, reparations, and guarantees. Hutin says the German delegation has full powers and will sign the preliminaries.
Associated Press reports indicate the last phase of peace negotiations may yield a treaty in the week starting May 25. The document will be presented to Germany Monday afternoon with limited formalities. The Allies will grant fifteen days for review and a few days for exchange of views before final approval.
Paris reports that the peace treaty with Germany omits provisions for sinking the larger German warships. The disposition of these vessels is reserved for later decision by the allied powers.
Chicago May 2 The American ism of Albert Wright was upheld as he explained possessing a German made razor after a Tuesday night brawl. Wright a negro said he obtained it from a dead German prisoner in no man’s land and claimed it was kept as a keepsake. Judge Stewart discharged him and kept the razor.
Washington May 2 1908 shortage of men threatens to place the battleship Oregon out of commission Acting Secretary Roosevelt said he might turn the vessel over to Oregon for historical purposes.
