Harmonious convention at City Hall last night settles party slate. Delegates who strayed from rules are denied seats as the ticket appears set for the upcoming contest.
Four Pocatello men and one Be0 mon man appointed by state land board to determine best use of funds for the Lava Springs health resort. Ed Murphy of McCammon named among appointees. Commission to visit springs in a few days to inspect conditions and plan actions.
Republican slate lists Mayor Theodore Turner and city clerk Will H. Veecity engineer W A Samms. First ward George Williams and George Ridgeway. Second ward Henry Reddish and W Blalock. Third ward Nixon and CEM Loux. Fourth ward Fred P Holt and A H Martin.

Mrs Eaton widow of War Admiral Joseph G Eaton was arrested and arraigned on murder charges in Hingham Massachusetts. District Attorney stated Admiral Eaton did not die of natural causes and authorities are examining poison as a factor. She pleaded not guilty and awaited trial.
Day of winter ends with Havro Montana reporting 22 degrees below zero. Cold persists across the Dakotas northern Wyoming and western regions as forecasts predict continued subfreezing conditions into tomorrow for the Atlantic states.
Monterey reports General Tra of Nuevo Leon resigns due to lack of sympathy with Huerta. The move reflects tensions within the state command during the Huerta era.
