Eight National Army men from St Paul, all Socialists, were found guilty by a general court martial at Camp Dodge Iowa for refusing to obey orders. They were sentenced to long terms at Leavenworth with one receiving twenty years and the other seven twenty five years each at hard labor.
American troops cooperating with the French conducted three raids opposite an American sector in Lorraine. Two raids were executed simultaneously last night and the Americans crossed the German first line and penetrated to the enemy second line about six hundred yards back.
