Woman Killed and Arimo Boy Fatally Hurt in Logan Crossing
Logan Utah June 2 AP Mrs Yadelmine Yonk Kidman 70 widow of Fred Kidman of Petersboro was killed instantly and Frederick Jensen 16 of Arimo Idaho was fatally injured when an Oregon Short Line gasoline motor car struck their automobile at Petersboro crossing eight miles west of here The car was tossed 50 feet and skidded 50 feet before impact Mrs Kidman was hurled from the car and died skull crushed Jensen was taken from the wreck unconscious in a hospital here not expected to recover There were no eyewitnesses besides the gasoline car operator who said Jensen was speeding for the crossing Mrs Kidman a German native came to Utah in 1869 Eleven children survive her in Idaho and Utah.
