Legal advisers outline case of former tech president

Charles R. Frazier, president of Idaho Technical Institute, handed over institute affairs to Clancy St. Clair after the Idaho State Board of Education demanded his resignation. Advisers A L Merrill and T D Jopey state the board has power to employ and discharge staff, and that no binding contract for the next year existed due to the board's inaction and inconsistent actions. They advise that litigation would likely fail and harm the institute.

Legion Has A Rousing Meet In Blackfoot Idaho

About 150 members of the American Legion sixth district met in Blackfoot for a banquet and business session to elect officers and discuss sending an Idaho delegation to the national convention in Omaha in October. An On to Omaha committee was appointed with E J Thorkildsen as chair and plans to take the Blackfoot legion band of 35 to the national assembly.
