Phillips Petroleum of Bartlesville Oklahoma acquired a controlling interest in Wasatch Oil Refining of Salt Lake City and Idaho Refining of Pocatello in a stock exchange deal completed yesterday.
Phillips gains control of Wasatch and Idaho refineries with an option for up to 80 percent of stock in the Utah Idaho firms.
