Woman Struck By Lightning Survives Incident
Mrs. Andrew Harrell, 38, was struck near her home Friday afternoon under a tree. She was knocked unconscious but walked home for help. Doctors at Twin Falls County Hospital reported a seared ear drum and burns on the chest abdomen and legs. Authorities say she is in good condition and should recover with deafness in the left ear.

Meat Handlers End Strike Return to Jobs

Grace Worker Dies in Utah Power Plant Accident
Keith M. Roper, 31, was killed at the Bear River hydroelectric plant after a valve failed and a high pressure rush of water flooded the pit. The incident caused oil spills and damaged the lower plant floor as workers halted the flow and emergency crews responded. Roper, husband and father of a five year old, is survived by his relatives. The body was taken to Preston.
