Six Keystone duomotored U S Army bombing planes arrived at Pocatello at 1 15 p m four hours after leaving Pendleton Oregon on route to Langley Field Virginia. The group under Captain George P Johnson left Langley Field May 4 with 29 other planes and has been at March Field California for maneuvers. The visiting crew includes nine officers and 21 enlisted men of the second bombing group A A C. They will refuel with 2300 gallons and proceed to Grand Island Nebraska Tuesday morning stopping to refuel at Laramie Wyoming at noon.
Bottled and branded 3.2 beer was being sold openly in Pocatello today with soft drink parlors earning daily harvest as crowds of about thirty paid 25 cents for a pint. Truckloads reportedly passed through overnight and several cases were seized by locals. The beer remains tax free for the state at present. A manager said he had sold several hundred bottles by noon.
