Convict Bechtel Recaptured Near Dripping Springs
CAPTURED CONVICT Lewis Bechtel, one of eleven escapees from Kansas penitentiary, was found today at a farm house near Dripping Springs Ohio. He was reportedly alone while two companions remained at large as four other escapees had been traced to eight miles northwest of Siloam Springs. Police continued hunts in the remote hilly area for three remaining escapees since dawn yesterday.

Boise Hospital Becomes Old Soldiers' Home
Boise June 2 The Veterans hospital here becomes an old soldiers' home on orders from the Veterans Administration in Washington. D H Hudelson manager says it will accommodate Civil War Spanish American War and World War veterans from Idaho and eastern Oregon eligible for care. Between 85 and 95 men can be housed. Veterans may be hospitalized or live there but must pay their own transportation. Pair tonight and Saturday slightly warmer in the west portion.
