Plane Crash Near Minidoka Injures Pocatello Man
Kenneth Jorgenson, 24, of Pocatello, sustained a broken collarbone when his Ryan primary trainer crashed eight miles east of Minidoka near Union Pacific tracks at 12:30 PM on a business trip to Gooding. The plane nose dived after the propeller failed, then total loss. He walked to a farm, got a ride to Rupert General Hospital.

E Marie Livingston of Aberdeen was assessed 10 dollars for a traffic light violation. Ivan E. Johnson posted a 10 dollar bond on a speeding charge. Wesley Leach 17 of 256 South Elevenin was fined 50 dollars for speeding and driving with one headlight. John P. Camp of 412 North Fifth faced a not guilty plea for speeding in a taxi at up to 41 mph and asked the judge to ride with him. the judge agreed after court adjourned. Douglas Scullery 64 of Salt Lake City faced a red light and careless driving charge. Arraigned on running traffic lights were Jimmy Rodrigues 169 Wilson fined 5 dollars Roy J. Kirkman 196 Washington fined 7.50 and Dan Woodard 139 North Grant fined 5. Catherine Ann Coke Turner Hall and Daniel Alma Brown 228 North Fifth failed to appear. Clifton Brodeley Layton 53 of Gannett had operating a car while intoxicated continued as Layton was reported to be in a hospital. Harley Banks Wrenn related to petit larceny with a transfer of case to county. Wrenn recently fined 100 for auto prowling and had escaped from a street gang.
