Investigators also probe a $1,000 life insurance policy Hull allegedly took on Corwin.
Farmer Tommie Davis of Piggott Arkansas was injured when his mule kicked him after the animal stepped on his dog's foot and the dog bit the mule. Davis was feeding the animals when the accident occurred.
Berlin July 27 The Nazi campaign of intimidation deepens fear among veterans and Jews as police crackdown targets the Stahlhelm and anti Semitic actions are branded state crimes. Catholic leaders seek a possible peace with the church while inflation rumors spur worry of a blood purge and leadership shifts. Count von Helldorf tightens controls.
In Craigmont Idaho the American junior league team from New Plymouth routed Craigmont 20 to 1 in the North Idaho playoff opener. A second game is set for 10 a m tomorrow with a potential third at 2 30 p m. the winner faces Pocatello for the state title.

Boise July 27 Pocatello youths won in the first annual Idaho State junior golf tournament. Fred Hubbard took Class A with 170 over 36 holes, Paylor of Nampa was runner up at 173. Ed Harper Jr won Class B with 139 for 27 holes, beating Ollie Boyenger of Boise and Val Toolson of Twin Falls in a playoff on the third hole.
A postcard note claiming the 2-year-old Isily Rush is safe was received as investigators pursue a revenge kidnapping theory. Deputy Haner said the blue sedan sighting is key, while Mrs. Rush doubts a ransom motive given the family's relief status. Four men on a Lake Michigan pleasure cruise died when the Stinson Junior crashed after a flat turn during approach to Curtiss Wright airport. Pilot Robert M. Henschen and Chicago area men George T. Tengberg William H. Ennis and George R. Burkhard perished. the group had rented the plane from North Suburban Flying Corporation and took off near Chicago.
Police Lieut Rolland Berry arrested A. E. Davis in a hotel on an intoxication charge. Davis was taken to the station for booking. After Davis was led away, Berry found the prisoner missing from the cell and later retrieved Davis’ pocket contents.
