Steamship Vimelra Strikes Iceberg Off Newfoundland Coast

The British steamer Vimelra bound from Glasgow hit an iceberg near the Grand Banks east of Newfoundland. No injuries reported. steering gear damaged and other damage noted, but the ship continued toward port.
