Plate Crash Kills Former Preston Man
Two Utahns on an unauthorized search flight crashed in the Park City area killing Floyd P. Jenkins 32 of Tooele and Harold E Benson 36 Salt Lake City pilot. Benson was not authorized to search for the Gauthier plane and the party found an army bomber wing from 1941 at the crash site. Benson born November 4 1911 at Preston Idaho was the son of Frank T and Lillie Benson.

Army To Induct 96 Men From Area Each Month
