Seven men were injured battling brush and forest fires in the dust dry Rockies near Denver. County totals included Ada 25,060 Bannock 17,055 Bingham 6,163 Bonneville 7,105 Twin Falls 14,863 Canyon 26,762 and Kootenai 26,499.
Chairman James W. Funk of the state liquor control commission said 35 people had their liquor permits canceled in the past year after their automobile operator licenses were revoked for drunken driving. He noted the enforcement division recommended the action and that further revocations are likely after a check of recent cases.
