Nyssa Oregon July 16 AP Owyhee dam the highest structure of its kind in America built at a cost of six million dollars for irrigation of 125000 acres will be dedicated tomorrow Secretary of the Interior Dr Ray Lyman Wilbur and Commissioner Elwood Mead will take part The dam lies 25 miles southwest of Nyssa in Malheur county and stands 530 feet from foundation to parapet The ceremony at 2 pm will be attended by Governor C Ben Ross of Idaho and other state and local officials The Owyhee project is part of the Vale Owyhee development and includes a unique ring gate spillway known as the glory hole
