The Rocky Mountain Bell Telephone company will finish the year’s key project at Basin on Monday. Crews will complete the link between Billings Montana and Union Pacific lines, with local line acceptance in northeastern Wyoming. President Wallace and Supt. A nine year old girl died Friday morning near Weiser after playing with a colt at her home of W. C. Boyd five miles west of town. The colt kicked her temple and stamped her body, witnesses say. The family, new to the area, faced dire finances amid this tragic loss.
