J P Jones chief deputy sheriff found two slot machines on the highway about 500 feet from Portneuf road. Investigation shows the nickle and dime machines were stolen last night from the Country club south of the city. Machines battered with no coins left. Tracks indicate they were carried to Mink creek in a car. Amount stolen unknown.

Woman Bitten by Dog on Yellowstone Highway
Mrs. T. J. Kitchen, living north of the Green Triangle on the Yellowstone highway, was severely bitten on the calf after crossing to a mailbox when a dog attacked her this morning. The owner will tie the dog and keep it under observation for ten days. deputy sheriff James Mathews led the investigation. Her own dog restrained the attacker, preventing more serious injuries.
