Robber Kills Idaho Service Station Operator in Horseshoe Bend
J W Clark a 73 year old filling station proprietor was shot dead at his Horseshoe Bend station by a robber believed to have used a small caliber revolver. Sheriff Tucker and State Police joined Ada County coroner and Boise autopsy plans. Clark had worked for 17 years with Idaho Northern railroad and eight years running the station. The town lies on the Payette highway 45 miles north of Boise.
