Omaha reporters say local union leaders foresee widespread walking out by maintenance workers before nightfall despite executives of the maintenance of way men's union delaying strike pending mediation. M. B. Gibson in Council Bluffs Iowa predicted many maintenance men would join the shop men's strike this afternoon.
